"Busy Train" is an interactive storybook with mini-games for kids ages 4 to 8.
The folksy Engineer will take you on a fact-filled train trip across America, where you can learn about our state capitals, state flags, landmarks and even pick up a little trivia along the way.
PLAN YOUR TRIP
Pick your destinations from the map, then hop aboard the Busy Train and get ready for your journey across the United States.
GET TO KNOW AMERICA
At each stop you’ll see the state flag, nickname, capital, notable cities, landmarks, monuments, and major crops and industries.
LANDMARKS
Visit some of our country’s most scenic national parks and monuments, such as Yosemite National Park, the Statue of Liberty, Kennedy Space Center, and more.
MINI-GAMES
Reinforce what you’ve learned as you play mini-games:
CONCENTRATION
- Match state names to capitals

BUILD A TRAIN
Practice math concepts as you complete color sequences and number patterns, and assemble a train.
LOAD IT UP
Exercise some early science skills by loading cargo onto boxcars and categorizing by size, weight, state of matter, plants, animals… and more!
CUSTOMIZE YOUR TRAIN
Points earned in the mini-games let you customize your train with items such as new paint, flag decals, antenna balls, and more.
