BW SOS

The BW-SOS App is based on navigation information through a specialised TomTom based console supplied to our emergency response partners across the country. Pressing the emergency button on BW-SOS immediately alerts them of your location, allowing the closest Emergency Response Partner to respond to your emergency, wherever you are in Botswana. Developed by Smart Device Technologies, the app is available on the iStore. Signing up is fast and simple. Relevant information must include a photo of the user, important medical information, car registration number, make and model, medical aid information, and important identifying information.

Once activated, the BW-SOS app response-button can be placed in easy reach on your mobile home-screen. In the case of an emergency, anywhere within Botswana borders, activating the app will immediately alert the Emergency Response partner in closest geographic proximity to you. When alerted, support services also automatically communicate incident details to local police, fire, roadside assist and private medical response units, depending on what the situation requires.
