ByPlace

The byPlace® app allows you to create a site for your home, organization, or business on the map. A site can be private, public or shared with authorized users only.

Visitors to a website navigate the site by hand whereas visitors to a map site navigate information by hand and feet. The byplace vision is to create an immersive and intuitive browsing experience for users to access information stored at the point of need.

There are two views within byPlace to browse information. The map view is useful for information spread out in a large geographic area,  whereas the Augmented Reality view works great for smaller surroundings.

The byPlace® platform includes an app running on smartphones and a backend store for indexing and storing digital content securely in the cloud. Users of byPlace app can assume two roles: authors and/or users. Authors create and attach digital content to either a specific location or physical object. Users navigate and interact with digital content prepared by authors.
