Specific gravity by volume is mainly used to describe the ratio of the volume of a solid or liquid substance to the weight of water of the same volume.
The specific gravity of solid substances is mainly used to determine their floatation and sedimentation characteristics in fluids, identify the quality of minerals and evaluate the properties of materials.
Porosity refers to the ratio of the sum of all pore space volumes in a rock sample to the volume of the rock sample.
This application mainly provides data calculation based on core parameters of construction engineering. Through calculation, the properties and material attributes of porous solids can be further grasped, assisting relevant practitioners in the analysis and testing of materials. Specifically, it includes: calculating the actual specific gravity, volumetric specific gravity, apparent solid specific gravity and apparent porosity of solid substances through core parameters.
