Cactus Gypsies Boutique

Say hello to Cactus Gypsies Boutique, located at 203 West Main St in Downtown Durant! The although this location's doors just opened in August 2018, this story is full of history- from the building, the décor, and the owner! Owner Morgan Hudgins has created the happiest little hideaway… you’ve just got to check it out! The location was previously Morgan’s great grandmother’s building, where she was a cosmetologist. Th space certainly has personality, and showcases some near-and-dear to her heart items, including a family heirloom flag and even a few deer mounts shot by a gun-wielding grandma!



“No one will give you your dream, you have to go out and get it and learn to fly on the way down.” Morgan has certainly chased her dreams: from starting small and selling out of her home, traveling to vendor events in an Airstream trailer (named Sylvia), managing an online store and Facebook live sales, setting up a space in Foster Creativity (aka Durant Mercantile), to having her own Downtown Durant storefront.



She contribute her success to her great customers and relying on and trusting in God throughout the journey. Her favorite part about being in Downtown Durant is the energy and atmosphere. She said there’s always something fun happening and folks are coming from surrounding areas to stop by.



Inventory is constantly changing from adorable t-shirts, sassy jewelry, retro bellbottoms to sequins galore…. They feature western, floral, boho, and more!
