CAIDE Risk Score App

The Cardiovascular Risk Factors, Aging, and Incidence of Dementia (CAIDE) risk score allows the prediction of the later risk of dementia based on the risk factor profile present in midlife (age 40 to 65).
With this app physicians can calculate the risk score of individual patients and demonstrate how changes in lifestyle may affect the risk of developing dementia within the next twenty years. Anyone can use the personal version of this app to calculate their own dementia risk and find out how they can reduce their risk of getting dementia.

Additionally, this app includes information on how the risk factors can be reduced, e.g.

- how a short education time can be compensated by different activities or
- how one can easily increase physical activity in daily life.

To get either the physician or personal version you only need to select the version you want at the first use of the app.

Data Protection
Any personal information or patient data saved in the CAIDE Risk application will only be stored locally on your device and cannot be accessed by Merz Pharmaceuticals GmbH. Any patient data saved in the CAIDE Risk application needs to be handled with the usual care like any document containing patient data.
