App Store Description

Doctor Math is really proud to introduce its first product, Calculus 1.
The concept is very simple. Doctor Math is sure that learning mathematics becomes very effective, if the students apply their learned theory by solving as many practical problems as possible.

Doctor Math Calculus 1 offers the students more than 280 practical problems. All solutions of problems and their detailed explanations are available as well. The problems cover different fields of mathematics enclosed in the syllabus of the first year calculus of most universities of the world. This app includes the following main topics:
- Real numbers, mathematical induction.
- Functions and limits.
- Differential calculus.
- Application of derivative (Taylor series, extreme value problems, Newton’s Method).
- Integral calculus.
- Application of Integral (Volumes, arc length, area of surface revolution).
- Infinite sequences and series (limits and convergence).

These 7 sections of Calculus 1 are divided into several subsections. Each subsection contains 7 problems. The complexity of problems is increasing with the number of the problem in every subsection. The students have the possibility to solve the problems themselves and compare the results with the answers provided by Doctor Math. If difficulties occur during the solving process or if the answers do not match, then the students can simply click the ”solution” button and see the complete solution with all necessary explanations. Moreover, Doctor
Math includes a button called ”What Should I Know”. The page under this button contains a brief summary of definitions and theorems as well as formulas necessary for solving the problems.
Through the feedback button Doctor Math is wishing to stay in everyday contact with all users. Any remark or question is welcome.

Here is the best part - Doctor Math Calculus1 is completely free.
