Just in time for the Commodore 64's 30th birthday!

Wasn't the world more beautiful in 16 colours? Camera C64 will take you back to the eighties, when the Commodore 64 ruled the world of 8-bit micro computers!

Camera C64 will let you capture pictures that look exactly like the digitised photos you could see on the Commodore 64, with a real-time preview of the result.

First, it will use the exact same idiosyncratic palette that was used by the C64's VIC-II video chip, and map the real-world colours to this palette.

Then it will decrease the resolution to 320x200 pixels, which was the original resolution of the C64.

It will also apply a very realistic dithering effect, which was used to alleviate the lack of realistic colours in the C64 palette.

And Camera C64 will let you view in REAL TIME exactly what the result will look like. No need to wait for the effect to be applied! What you see is exactly what you get.

Optionally, you can purchase a set of additional filters that emulate black & white TV, amber and green monitors.
