App Store Description

CamSextant allows measuring altitudes of celestial objects
with the phone as a marine sextant. Or any vertical angle.

The app combines the phone sensor readings with camera image. Point the phone to a celestial object and
capture the altitude reading and time necessary
for celestial navigation.

Celestial objects are shown on screen in real time.
Great to identify stars and planets.

You can calibrate the sextant zero, by reading the sea horizon altitude. Calibration angle is subtracted from raw sensor reading.
