The newly added ‘I want to drink’ section has over 3000 wine, 800 bottled beers, 1000 spirits, 2500 soft drinks, 700 teas, coffees and chocolate drinks – all with helpful tasting notes. A trolley-load of drink books at your finger-tips! You’ll have no problem navigating your way round the off-licence shelves, the supermarket’s drink maze or the soft drink shelves when you have the Can I Eat It? App.
The Can I Eat It? App. has tens of thousands of food & drink products from: Aldi, Asda, The Co-operative Food, Marks & Spencer, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose.
The Can I Eat It? App. allows you to check if a product is: gluten free, lactose free, low fat, low salt, low sugar or vegetarian.
The Can I Eat It? App. enables you to set your own personal Guideline Daily Amount (GDA) for every product.
The Can I Eat It? App is so easy to use – just move the scanning ‘laser’ across the product’s barcode, just like you would at a supermarket’s self-service checkout - and your product will drop into the App’s product’s tray.
If the product in the App’s product’s tray displays:
Green thumb: You can eat or drink it – put it in the trolley.
Red thumb: You can’t eat or drink it – leave it on the shelf.
Orange thumb: We are unsure – please check the label.
