Canasta Score Card

This Canasta score card is based on the popular Hand and Foot score card. The score card can keep score for up to eight players and allows for partners with 2, 3, or 4 players per team.

The score card will automatically determine minimum melds after each hand for each player.

A wild card canasta entry option can be enabled on the settings tab for those who play with rules allowing wild card canastas.

For those who do not want to subtract the points left in the hand, a hand points entry can be enabled on the settings tab. The entry will always be negative.

The values for each of the scores can be set for multiple versions of the game on the settings tab.

Variations of Canasta rules are presented on the Rules tab. Internet access is required for accessing the rules web page.

It is possible to print the scores directly to an Airprint supported printer on the History tab. The scores can still be saved to the Notes app using the Copy All button in the History tab window. Open the Notes app and select paste.

The score card allows data and settings files to be saved to a computer. The data file contains the history of the all the games which can be copied from the data file to a text file. CAUTION: DO NOT MODIFY EITHER THE SETTINGS OR DATA PLIST FILES MANUALLY. THE APPLICATION CAN CRASH IF THE FILES ARE MODIFIED.
