Carbs to CP

Carbs to CP is made by a Type 1 Diabetic for other diabetics to help with carb counting. Having gone on my own journey with diabetes I hope this app is useful to you in daily life.

Carbs to CP allows you to take any food packet and calculate the carbohydrate content of your meal from the label. The app takes away the difficult maths and speeds up dinner time. Simply weigh your portion of food and enter the information on the packaging for the carb content per 100g. We will then work out the carbohydrate content of your serving.

The app allows you to enter unlimited amounts of different foods and provides a rolling total of the carbohydrate content of your whole meal.

Information is also converted into Carbohydrate Portions (CPs) for Carb Counting Diabetics. The app uses a conversion rate of 10grams of Carbohydrate equal 1 CP.

Important:

The application is only reliable if accurate information is entered. Incorrect weights or packaging information could result in under or over estimated portions. It is the users responsibility to ensure they administer the correct amount of insulin for their meal.
