App Store Description
CARDonate makes accepting credit card donations for schools, performers, any organisation or individual that is funded by donations. When paired with an iZettle Reader 2 credit card reader your iPad can operate as a one-touch Donation Kiosk and can accept payments by Chip and Pin, Contactless or Apple Pay.
A simple clickwheel interface selects the donation amount, and a simple tap of a credit card onto the iZettle Reader completes the transaction. If the station is not interacted with for a minute, an Attract Mode is engaged where a set of 4 user-supplied images are cycled on screen, aiming to attract attention to the system, encourage interaction, and hopefully encourage spending.
8 presets may be configured for the app, each preset allowing 8 different images to be installed from your iPad photos, to customize your CARDonate station for a specific use. These images are the "Top of screen" banner, the "Thank you" panel, the instructions for "Chip and PIN" and "Contactless" payment (in a non-English language for example), and the 4 "Attract Mode" screens. The range of payments - minimum, maximum and delta - may be set within the "Settings" app.
The app is designed to be virtually unbreakable in operation. No editing, configuration or settings functonality is exposed within the user interface. So if "guided Access" mode is used, or if the Home button is covered up, there is no risk of someone playing with the interface accidentally getting into an "operator" interface. The only configuration is done within the iPad "Settings" app, which then enables a Preset Editing screen for deployment customisation.
