What is it about?

CareBuddy is a mobile app system developed based on medical professional validated dementia coping knowledge. The system is designed to support family caregivers with personalized recommendations of coping solutions based on different caregiving needs. Users will be connected with community service centres via the system for help support from health care providers. In addition, users can interact with other peer caregivers to seek for help support on the system. To facilitate the healthcare service delivery to both the family caregivers and the people-with-dementia, CareBuddy also provide teleconsultation service from 3rd party GPs. Last but not the least, CareBuddy also have Chatbot function, with which family caregivers may query for caregiving and coping solutions from the system. In sum, CareBuddy aims to provide holistic support to empower family caregivers to better care for their loved one with dementia.
