Caredemic: Sounds of Breathing

Volunteer to provide anonymous audio samples of the sound of your breathing. Together, we can provide enough samples to help researchers make new discoveries about how normal and abnormal lungs sound. Help us make a difference!

The app makes it convenient to collect the audio in high quality (without compression), in a simple slide show format. It provides instructions on how to collect the audio samples consistently. It also lets you re-submit updated samples as time progresses, which allows researcher to observe how your lungs change over time.

All collection is anonymous. We do NOT collect your contact information, your IP address, any serial numbers, GPS locations, nor financial information. We are only seeking to help researchers with data they require to perform their research, both now and in the future.

Note: If in the future we your government ends up permitting and requesting us to give you feedback about your anonymous samples, we would seek your anonymous consent first, to send you that information.
