How does it work?
CarFlow York communicates the expected behaviour of the next set of traffic lights to road users. When approaching a junction, SWARCO's FlowSense sends real-time traffic information to the app. This data is then continuously analysed and an advisory speed will appear on the driver’s in-car device giving the driver the best chance of arriving at a green light without needing to stop.
