Would you like to be good at money?

CashView is a personal financial management tool that just might help.

It is an app for creating and managing budgets with a twist. The building block of CashView is the Spending Plan.

A Spending Plan is a collection of accounts and transactions that take place over a year.

You can create independent Spending Plans for home, business, or to plan and track special events like a wedding or vacation.

Transactions are the fundamental building block of a Spending Plan. A transaction records the movement of money between accounts.

While the idea of a transaction is simple enough to understand, our lives are filled with recurring transactions. Recurring transactions are bills or income that repeat on a predictable schedule. We call these repeating transactions a cashflow. Complication arises because we are usually faced with many overlapping cashflows. This is where CashView attempts to help.

CashView is designed to make the creation of cashflows very simple. By doing so, it is very efficient to build a budget for an entire year, a glimpse into your financial future. By understanding and predicting your spending you will see in advance how your year will unfold.

The twist in CashView, is how a Spending Plan is used once created. Unlike a budget, which seems to lose it's usefulness when it starts to diverge from your reality, a CashView Spending Plan is intended to be kept in sync.

A Spending Plan is a living budget. It contains your spending and real account balances, but extends into the future with your best estimate of your spending for the remainder of the year. Because you create your Spending Plan in advance, the day to day maintenance of CashView is reduced because future transactions transition into actual spending.

You simply fill in the extra day to day transactions as they occur and tweak estimated transactions if they vary.

The most profound benefit you will notice when using CashView is your sense of mastery over your life. Becoming good at money, and knowing where you stand all the time will give you new confidence. While having lot's of money might be nice, being in control of your money might just be more important to your happiness.

Try CashView and get good at money.
