App Store Description

The classic party game Celebrity is now in app form, with every feature you can imagine!
More than 15,000 names are available, from Hank Aaron, Bud Abbott, and Paula Abdul to Zorro, Mark Zuckerberg, and Buckwheat Zydeco, and every name has a clue to help you out if you get stuck.

No other Celebrity game has anywhere near that many names and clues!

Players divide into two, three, or four teams and have to get their teammates to say the randomly selected names by giving them clues. Names are divided into three difficulty levels and 11 categories (American history, fine arts, literature, movies, mythology, pop music, popular culture, science, sports, television, and world history). You can choose what levels and categories to use in the game.

You can choose the time limit for the turn (30 to 120 seconds), what time penalty there is for skipping a name (or disallow skipping entirely), how many clues are allowed per turn (or disallow clues entirely).

There’s also an optional second round where all the names from the first round are repeated, but you’re limited to clues consisting of only one word and/or one gesture.

The free version has 110 names from Level 1, enough to play a few games. In-app purchases allow you to get all the Level 1 names (more than 2,000 names), all the Level 2 names (more than 5,000 names), all the Level 3 names (more than 4,000 names), all the Level 4 names (more than 4,000) or all four. The name database and clues will be updated periodically, and any levels already purchased will be updated automatically for free within the app.
