Champion Climber is an activity app developed for the Apple Watch. It allows you to track the number of floors you have climbed daily, monthly and since resetting the app to help encourage you to become active every day and increase your fitness and leg strength.
It features two unusual but exciting mountaineering challenges. Champion Climber allows you to view your progress on your Apple Watch as you virtually climb two famous landmarks. The mountaineering challenges include climbing to the top of the Juyongguan Pass of the Great Wall of China, and the top floor of The Empire State Building in New York City. You appear as a red “climber” icon, and as you climb flights of stairs the app will update your position on your watch screen by moving the icon to the appropriate height relative to the landmark.

Mountaineering is growing more popular day by day, as climbing burns from 1.5 – 2 x number of calories of normal walking and is not hard on your joints like running. Of course, access to mountains for climbing is limited, but there are stairs everywhere, and they provide a place to climb that is free from concerns with bad weather or loose footing. And with the Champion Climber app, you can virtually climb natural landmarks anytime! The main thing is to start climbing and view your progress on our app to help with motivation. You can compare your results to friends, family members, or just your previous “best” time to complete one of the challenge climbs.
How to use Champion Climber:
1. First, download the app from Apple AppStore and install it on your IOS watch and open it to start climbing.
2. The Home Screen provides you with the number of floors climbed in the last 24 hours. It also shows the % of a vertical mile and number of vertical feet completed.
3. Swipe left once or twice to see the famous landmarks and your virtual climber’s progress.
4. Swipe left again to see the Summary Screen.
5. You can reset the daily, monthly, and overall counts independently at any time.
