As its name echoes, Galeri Chandan evokes the essence of 'Bukit Chandan', a locus of excellence in culture, architecture, arts and crafts. By adopting to these distinctive qualities, the gallery aspires to emulate Bukit Chandan's eminence in our artistic pursuits
The proposal of Galeri Chandan as a new gallery in Kuala Lumpur is to support the escalation of artistic endeavours by Malaysian artists.
Located at 15 Jalan Gelenggang, Damansara Heights – Galeri Chandan is on the ground floor of a double-storey bungalow unit and has an art space of approximately 400 square metres.
Apart from promoting art shows and offering conducing space for artists, the gallery also opens its doors to selected artistic events.
The art space is extended to a private outdoor courtyard that offers spatial flexibility for events while permitting the surrounding landscape to be enjoyed as a natural backdrop.
