CtC is an inclusive peer support network that believes diversity of thought is essential for an effective Board and we welcome you if you share our belief. We help those seeking Board roles and those already on boards to connect, share knowledge, experiences and expertise and support you on your board journey. You may not understand what it means to be on a Board and would like to discover if your skills and experience are relevant. You may be an experienced Board member who would like support to contribute to your board(s) as effectively as possible.
Wherever, you are on your board journey, we are a peer support network who help each other:
- Prepare and Develop: develop confidence, understand what it means to be on a board and the relevance of your skills,
- Find roles: Find board vacancies, strengthen your CV /application forms and prepare for interviews
- Board support: Support, learn from each other and access training about specific aspects of governance and share experiences and what we now know that we wished we’d known before
This is underpinned by events for all members, focussing on specific aspects of your board journey, learning from others’ board journeys or socialising. All improve your network and it is an incredible network of over 700 diverse members.
There is a “Chat” area in the App to share ideas, questions, vacancies, whatever is relevant to our members. You can chat with individual members and find people offering mentoring to support those who would benefit from it.
We also support organisations recruit diverse boards and provide training for their boards.
