CHIPS payNow gives merchants the ability to provide their staff (for example, waiters, delivery personnel, etc.) with a free and easy-to-use app for accepting CHIPS mobile payments from customers, using a mobile phone or a tablet.
Once the app has been downloaded, the merchant uses its CHIPS miBusiness portal to connect the app to the CHIPS account of the business.
The app can only be used by businesses and organisations that are registered CHIPS merchants.
