App Store Description

CHORUS, BRINGING COMMUNITY BACK TO DATING
Chorus is matchmaking app where friends swipe for friends. Think of us as the anti-dating app, dating app. You always swipe for others on Chorus—we're all about friends helping friends. We're making dating less lonely and more human again.

WE'RE BUILDING COMMUNITY
Chorus is more than an app. It's a movement to make modern dating less lonely. We're independently owned and female run. Whether you're looking for love or happily partnered and just want to help—Chorus is for you.
Here's how it works:
Tell us who you are: a Dater or a Matchmaker
If you're a Dater, fill out a quick profile—you know the drill, and invite at least one person to be your Matchmaker (ie. swipe for you).
If you're a Matchmaker, invite at least one Dater to swipe for. Once that person creates a profile, you can swipe away.
Matchmakers can also view their Dater's profiles, send helpful feedback and encouragement because creating a dating profile isn't always easy.
On Chorus, we want to give online Daters a break from swiping. Daters are only notified when they have a match. And when they do, they can message with the match per usual, or un-match if they're not into it.
Matchmakers can message with Daters to see how it's progressing with their matches, so everyone is kept in the loop and it's all a little less lonely.

PHILOSOPHY & PRESS
"For better or worse, online dating isn’t going away, but something needs to change. We need to figure out how to keep what’s good about online dating — the ease of meeting people and the intermixing of otherwise unlikely circles — and get rid of what’s bad — the judgment and isolation. Meeting people online and meeting people through friends don’t have to be mutually exclusive. In fact, it’s essential — to the sanctity of our friendships and the way we treat one another — that they aren’t."

“To my married friends, however, talking to a stranger about your feelings for two hours before bed and then never speaking to that person again is beyond bizarre. And you know what? They’re right.” — Emily J. Smith, CEO & Founder.

"When the single friends go out to socialize, the ones in relationships may feel like they don’t get to join in on all the fun. And when the friends in relationships brings their partner’s around, single friends can feel lonely. Chorus hopes to bridge these two worlds together and end that separation." — Fembot Magazine, Feature on Chorus
