Citizens Journalist

The Citizens Journalist (CJ) app allows you to record a video or audio which is verified as authentic and has not been changed in any way. We use blockchain technology to prove that it has not been altered since you recorded it on your CJ app. So when someone watches your video, they know:
• Who took the video,
• Which device it was recorded on
• When it was recorded
• Where it was recorded.
The CJ app is a secure walled garden that wraps around your camera in your mobile device and any content recorded and stored inside it cannot be altered without corrupting it.
When you register your CJ app, you are also given access to the CJ portal where you can upload your content for other people to watch it. When people view your video they know that it is not a fake video and they know who recorded it, it when and where it was recorded it.
We believe that this is the first step in fixing the global problem of fake news by guaranteeing the veracity of real news.
This version of the CJ app is just the first MVP (Minimum viable product) version. There will be lots more to come, including ways that you can make money from your content
