App Store Description

Clariti is a content blocker for Safari that hides specific content you don't want to see on various websites.

- Tired of seeing spoilers for your favourite TV shows? Add the show name to your list of phrases.
- Is there a politician, president, billionaire, or billionaire's space company you don't want to see news stories for? Add them to the list!
- Hate a particular sport? Add its name, or any of the myriad other sportsball terms, to your list.
- You can even add web domains, and Clariti will try to hide all links containing those domains, including embedded content.

Got thousands of phrases you want to block? No problem! Buying the Clariti Pro upgrade unlocks the ability to add thousands of phrases across multiple profiles!

Use profiles to separate lists of phrases. Create a profile for TV show spoilers, politics, sport, entertainment, influencers... You can even move phrases between profiles, and copy them to other profiles so it's really easy to customise your content.

It's not perfect; it can't be. It will probably leave blank space on the page when it hides an image, and it will likely hide a link in the middle of a sentence. But hey, it's better than seeing things you don't want to see, right?

Please note: Clariti, like all content blockers, cannot simply block words in a paragraph; they can only hide web content that matches certain specific technical rules.

Whitelist sites:
If you don't want to apply the content blocker on certain websites you can add them to the whitelist:
- Just tap the share action button in Safari, choose Clariti, and hit "Add".
- To remove a whitelisted site repeat that step and tap "Remove", or go the app and delete it from there. Simple.

Problems?
- If you find a site where Clariti doesn't block content properly, let me know by tapping the share action button in Safari to send a report.
- Reports are entirely anonymous - they're sent with no contact details, no email, no name, nothing.
- Once changes are made to the blocklists, updates are rolled out and you can just tap the update button in the app.
- It's not possible to block everything, and because reports are anonymous I can't respond to you personally. If you need to get in touch please contact me via Mastodon at clariti@mstdn.social, the help pages in the app, or the website. Thanks!
