App Store Description

To use this application you need an AWS Account with the AWS Amplify published apps.

This application downloads AWS Amplify Access Logs to your device and provides several dashboards to analyze them.

Analyze AWS Amplify Access Logs locally on iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

CloudAnalytics for AWS Amplify (CloudAnalytics for short) is an application built for iOS and macOS that allows you to export Access Logs from your AWS Amplify applications and do analytics locally on your device. We include a User-Agent parser and GeoLite database to identify log entries and build valuable dashboards.

If you have 100k users a day, this application is not for you. But if you are using AWS Amplify to host static blogs like Hugo or pretty simple websites, you can easily use this application to track referrals and users. One of the websites that we use with AWS Amplify has 10,000 access logs per day.

This application downloads the Access Logs from your AWS Amplify application to your device and store them in the local database. One of the websites that we monitor produces 10,000 access log entries a day. The database on the local device is 200MB. It takes few minutes to download those logs to your device.

We parse User-Agents strings to identify real users, GeoLite database to identify incoming requests' locations. There is no need to inject any JavaScript codes into your website, keep them light, and use existing CloudFront logs generated for your AWS Amplify applications to learn what is happening on your website.

We have several prebuilt dashboards for you, so you can identify the issues and answer the most common questions:

- Number of real users (by parsing User-Agent strings, we can identify bots and exclude them)
- Most commonly used content, page hits.
- Referrals, including external and cross-website references.
- Identify your users, browsers, versions of the browsers, devices, and OS.
- Identify your users by location.

On our website, you can download a free macOS version that is the same as the Apple Store version, so you can try it before buying. The free version does not have automatic updates. If you want to use this application on iPad and iPhone, you need to purchase it from Apple Store.
