Collins Family Orchards

The Collins Family Orchards point of sale app for farmer's market sales lets you take payments for produce sold by weight to retail customers at farmer's markets where Collins Family Orchards sells produce.

The app accepts the following payment types (tender) in US currency:

* Payment cards including credit and debit cards
* Cash
* Check
* Gift cards and certificates
* All other payment types.

Weigh produce to be sold on a scale in the market stall, calculate the payment amount, and enter the amount in the app. Charge the customer and take their payment to complete a sale.

You can attach Square Magstripe and Contactless and Chip readers to your iOS device and then connect the readers to the app to take payment cards.

Payment cards can be swiped, tapped, or dipped with an attached Square card reader or if a reader is not attached, entered manually in the app. The app authorizes and captures payments made with these cards. Payments with all other payment types are recorded and tracked but are not transmitted to card processors for payment. Non payment card tender is manually reconciled and submitted for payment by Collins Family Orchards staff.

Use the app to clock in and out of work shifts at markets, choose the location of a market where you are selling, and capture payments for produce at the point of sale.

Note: The app does not have an offline mode. To take payments, choose a location, or clock into shifts, the iOS device must have a network connection.
