Columbia Weather Systems

The CWS Weather Monitor is a real-time app that is compatible with weather stations manufactured by Columbia Weather Systems, Inc.

It includes three real-time monitoring screens to display the standard weather parameters.

Screen One includes a wind dial showing the wind direction, wind speed, a representation of the 30-second wind direction standard deviation and vector mean. The screen also displays temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, and rain accumulation for the current day.

Screen Two displays dew point, wet bulb temperature, heat index, wind chill, rain accumulation for week/month/year, rain rate, and solar radiation.

Screen Three displays 3-second, 2-minute, and 10-minute wind averages, 10-minute and 1-hour wind gusts, 30-second vector mean wind speed and direction and wind direction standard deviation.

Screen 4 provides access to a week of local weather forecasts by zip code.

The user is able to select the desired units in the Units screen.

The app is able to display the real-time weather data from multiple weather stations associated with the account.
