ComfortMeter Health, written and provided by ComfortMeter Inc., provides patients with the ability to collect and forward health care data that is relevant to the patient's designated physician, health care providers, and caregivers.

ComfortMeter Health enables in-home remote patient monitoring for individuals suffering chronic conditions and those who have recently undergone surgery or other treatment. ComfortMeter enables physicians to provide better and more cost-effective health care by providing an electronic connection that provides clear and succinct data that is relevant to the ongoing care of the individual.

Depending upon your configuration, enrollment, and devices, ComfortMeter can be used to track and share measurements, recordings, inputs and other information such as:
- Heartrate
- Blood Pressure
- Body Temperature
- Activity (StepCount, Floors Climbed, etc.)
- Oxygen Saturation
- Photos
- Video
- Blood Alcohol Concentration
- Physician Defined Questions
- Pain Assessment
- Location
- Medications taken

ComfortMeter, when used in conjunction with a healthcare provider, is also a complete telemedicine platform with interactive video and video conferencing.

Data Collection and Sharing:

The app collects data from supported Bluetooth devices, the Apple Healthkit API, and allows the patient to manually input certain healthcare parameters.

Users are able to select specific caregivers and healthcare providers and specify the sharing of specific data with those designated parties.

The application does not share data with any third party except as specified by the user.


Use of the Apple Healthkit API and Care API:

Certain data that has been submitted into the Healthkit API by other applications can be selected by the user for sharing with the user's designated caregivers or healthcare providers. Such data includes heartrate entered by your Apple iWatch or other heart meters, blood pressure, blood alcohol concentration, weight, nutrition parameters submitted by nutrition applications and other values. Such data may include data that has been submitted by the Care API or other Apple APIs to the extent that such data is made available via the Healthkit API.

The application also receives values from other IOS sensors such as your step count.
