The Community Guardian App (CGA) is one of the service offerings as part of the Ministry of Social and Family Development’s (MSF) National Anti-Violence Helpline for the reporting of violence and abuse. It was first developed by PAVE Integrated Services for Individual and Family Protection Specialist Centre (PAVE) in collaboration with Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and learning technology company MQ Spectrum. The app was launched by PAVE in July 2020 and it was launched to open new channels of reporting, empowering grassroots leaders and volunteers to function as first responders of family violence. The app was moved to MSF since October 2020.
