Comprehension Toolbox is a professional speech therapy app that targets the spoken and written comprehension of single words.

It is designed for people with aphasia and older children with special needs including autism. It is also suitable for people who are learning English as a second language.

It has 3 user-friendly comprehension activities: Training, Photo Shuffle & Word Match.

Training: Hear and/or see 2 examples of the target word, then match the word to the correct picture (choice of 3)

Photo Shuffle: Match the spoken and/or written words to the pictures in the picture set (field size of 2-6 pictures)

Word Match: Match the picture to the correct spoken and/or written word (choice of 3)

Difficulty level: Alter difficulty level by choosing Easy, Medium or Hard. You can also adjust the field size (2, 3, 4 or 6 pictures on screen) in the Photo Shuffle activity.

Easy Level: The vocabulary items are from different categories
Medium Level: At least one or half of the items are from the same category. The others are from different categories
Hard Level: The vocabulary items are all from the same subcategory

Scoring: Automatic scoring keeps track of user progress

Results: User results are stored in-app or and can be sent via email
