What is it about?
The ConferenceCall.biz app is a mobile version of the acclaimed internet art website which simulates a surreal, never ending conference call. Dozens of recorded audio clips cycle randomly, along with images and a bleak ambient music loop. All of the conference participants are vaguely addressing the same set of topics, but no progress is ever made. Vice's Creators Project compared the result to to David Lynch directing a remake of Office Space, while Slate wrote that it "perfectly captures the existential despair of the conference call."
