Connect and Protect

Connect & Protect is a specialized app designed to provide essential mental health support and resources for first responders, including firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, and police officers. The app connects these heroes with trained Peer Support Personnel (PSP) and Global Peer Support Ambassadors to offer confidential, supportive conversations and access to critical emergency information.

When signing up, users provide their name, email, date of birth, gender, national certification number, and create a password. They can choose between two roles: First Responder or Retired First Responder, ensuring tailored support and resources based on their current or former professional status.

Peer Support Personnel (PSP): Engages in direct communication with first responders to provide emotional support, while accessing emergency details when needed.
First Responders: Can chat with PSPs, Global Peer Support Ambassadors, and manage personal emergency resources.
Guests: Limited app access, primarily to chat with ambassadors and explore available resources.
By offering chat capabilities, resource management, and emergency support access, Connect & Protect ensures that first responders receive timely help and care in a secure, private environment. With a premium service option for departments and individual responders, it provides robust tools for mental health support.
