Household chemicals

The app makes easy to assess the environmental and health impact of household cleaning products. All products have been evaluated using a standard methodology developed by experts. The data is collected from publicly available sources. The assessment is based on the properties of the substances in the products.


The products were classified into three groups. The product with the best rating in a given group is always marked with green dot, while the weakest is always marked red dot.
If the product has a third-party, legally founded ecolabel certification, it will receive a better rating than other products with the same or similar ingredients. This is because the ecolabel certification recognises the environmental benefits of product attributes other than ingredients.

Food products


The food section helps you to find the foods that:


- Do not contain palm oil or any other ingredients made from oil palm because their production endangers wildlife.
- Their ingredients come from fair trade, where the workers and producers are respected.
- They are certified organic, meaning they are produced with less impact on the environment.
- They are certified vegan.
