Origins and Inspirations of the birth of Cortado:

One early morning, I was walking downtown on Broadway in Manhattan.

I was in my suit and holding my suitcase with a cup of Cortado.

Stressed and anxious because I had a presentation to executives, I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going.

Just as my dogs started barking - WABLAM!! I run into a stop sign on the edge of the sidewalk.

As I fall down, everything is in slow motion.

My mouth and eyes are open wide in horror. The cup of Cortado is in the air ready to spill all over me. My mind goes through a million scenarios - especially the one where the coffee ruins my white button down and pink tie.

Well, it did.

But then suddenly something came to me.

I had reached enlightenment, zen, nirvana, realizations - all at once.

That's when I decided to build Cortado.
