Factors used in Cue's Ranking Model:
- Growth
This factor will model the potential growth in Revenue and Earnings. Past results are also considered to adjust this factor for constancy over the long term. With both the past, present and future outlook the factor does its best at ranking companies that growth vs the ones that don't
- Valuation
This factor is about answering one question: "is the stock overvalues or undervalued?" we try to do that by comparing the stock to others in the market and high Valuation score indicated that the stock has a good upside while a low score indicates an overvalued name.
- Profitability
This factor summarized the business returns, whether it is gross margins indicting positive unit economics, or operating margin indicating operational efficiency. The profitability factor is often the one that is most overlooked by retail investors.
- Strength
This factor models the financial strength for the business. Debt, Equity and Cash all play a role in determining the short-term cashflow, and in many cases long-term survival or success.
- Sentiment
This factor reviews Analyst recommendations over time to capture sentiment shifts in current and future earning outlook.
- Momentum
This factor reviews the price history over the past year to gage the momentum of the price with relation to its trend.
- Technical Trend
This factor trains on the stock's technical signals to predict the near-term direction (bullish or bearish)
