Annually, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization estimates a food waste of 1.3 billion tones of food! What is more worrisome is that world hunger has been on a steady increase since the last decade. Worldwide, there is a desperate need for sustenance, yet we see this trend in food wastage.

Curaee attempts to bridge this gap between the requirement of food and the surplus that is thrown away daily.

If your home/restaurant/cafe has a surplus of food that you no longer require, you can proceed to add in the availability of the item type and quantity. Once you are connected with someone willing to take those items, you can proceed to chat with them to manage the logistics of how they can acquire it from you.

Our houses/workplaces often have a lot of things that we no longer need and discard, whether that be electronics, utensils, furniture, machine parts, etc. Most of these items end up in landfills and add to the ongoing crises of world pollution. With Curaee, you can file in the items you wish to give away until you are connected with someone willing to take them off your hands.

You can sign up on the application using existing identification like Facebook, Google, or Email accounts. Once established, all interactions of the users would indicate their ratings and how reliable they are to share items with.
