تأسست الشركة عام 1896 ميلادي وأسسها محمد هاشم الكتبي الذي ينحدر من عائلة متخصصة في مجال المطابع والمكتبات في مدينة دمشق تحت اسم المكتبة والمطبعة الهاشمية.
نشاطها:
طباعة المصاحف الشريفة، تصنيع الدفاتر المدرسية والجامعية، التقاويم السنوية، التجليد الفني لمختلف أنواع الكتب والمطبوعات الفنية والتجارية، وتجارة مختلف أنواع الورق والكرتون والقرطاسية المدرسية والمكتبية.
