Following the Daniel Fast can be difficult as you are only allowed to consume fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains, legumes, plant-based oils, and water while following items are not allowed: meat, fish, and animal products, dairy products, sweeteners, leavening agents, solid fats, artificial and refined foods, deep fried foods, caffeine, tea, alcohol, and tobacco.
