App Store Description

The Dosimetry and Activity Visualizer for Yyytium-90 Radioembolization (DAVYR) is a mathematical modelling tool designed to provide the user with a more clear understanding of the relationship between activity (GBq) determination, and compartmental dose (liver, tumor, lung) as relating to Trans-Arterial Radioembolization (TARE) with Yttrium-90 microspheres.

With easy to use input function, through input buttons and sliders, the user can rapidly access clear summary tables, and on the iPad, graph plots outlining MIRD, Partition and BSA models.

As the app is intended for mathematical modelling only, the following limitations apply:

1) There is no differentiation between the different types of radioembolics
2) Concepts such as microdosimetry and Biological Equivalent Dose (BED) are not incorporated into dosmetric modelling
3) It is assumed that particles are uniformly distributed within each compartment
4) The app is meant as a general guide, and not intended for clinical use (please refer to product disclaimer)
