Delay Tracker

The Delay Tracker app empowers intercity rail passengers in the U.S. to report a train delay with their iPhone to the Surface Transportation Board. The Surface Transportation Board regularly submits reports to Congress from complaints they receive through their Rail Customer and Public Assistance program. This app facilitates ensuring that the voices of public rail customers are heard in Congress.

The purpose of this app is to identify bottlenecks in our national rail system, educate rail passengers on the likely causes of delays, and create data from registered voters that can persuade policymakers to fund infrastructure improvements that will prevent these unnecessary delays.
