DeltaPunkt Industry ist eine spezielle Version der DeltaPunkt App. In dieser App muss ein Passwort eingegeben werden. Dieses wird auf der Verwaltungsoberfläche (https://www.deltapunkt.de/dashboard/url.php) festgelegt. Nur wenn das richtige Passwort eingegeben wurde, wird der Beacon in der App angezeigt. Falls das Passwort nicht stimmt, sendet der Server keine Informationen an die App.
