App Store Description

Derecom is the brand new music player that finally brings colors back into your listening experience.

With Derecom you can:
- play all your albums, playlists, and favorite songs
- manage your up next Queue (e.g. add, delete, and reorder the items in the queue)
- set up Reminders to help you keep your iTunes library in order
- choose your favorite theme, and watch the colors of the app reflect the beautiful artworks of your albums and collections!

What else?
- Derecom supports playback of Apple Music songs, albums, playlists, and radio stations!
- Derecom now supports iPad natively (even split-screen and slide-over)

This app is exactly for you if:
- you've been wanting a new look for the music player lately
- your listening experience is tailored around building and maintaining your own music library, but you also like streaming new songs and discovering new artists
- you kinda miss the old not-so-white design of Music.app from iOS 9 and before...

I hope you enjoy Derecom Music Player. If you find that something important is missing, please let me know via email or twitter. I'm open to welcoming ideas about the future of this app. And I will consider very seriously the idea of adding or tweaking features if it improves the experience for the users.

Known app limitations (as of v1.2):
- Apple Music support is limited to playback. You cannot add or delete tracks to your playlists or to your library. HOWEVER, in the mean time, since Derecom shares the Playback queue with Music.app, it allows you to quickly jump to the system music app whenever you want, so that you can run your action there (e.g. hit the + button). Or... QUICK TIP: you can set up reminders for all the things you want to add/delete or modify in your library, so that you can postpone these tasks until you find the most convenient time to apply these modifications through iTunes or - in a lesser extent - through Music.app
- Any reordering of songs in the playback queue is not immediately applied to the actual system queue, and this is because the iOS framework doesn't allow otherwise. Modifications can only be applied by resetting the whole queue, which happens either when you hit the Apply button, or when the app finds a way to apply the new queue opportunistically (e.g. at song changes). I'm afraid there is no way around this, and that's why most players similar to Derecom don't offer queue management features at all. QUICK TIP: whenever you want to play a song that is further down the line in the up next queue, you can just use the PLAY NEXT feature, which doesn't require any queue reset.
- You can always Play Next items on your queue, but if you mix up streaming content and library content you will temporarily miss the opportunity to reorder items in the Up Next queue until such queue is made entirely of items of the same species (library vs. remote). This is again due to a framework (API) limitation.

Please consider supporting Derecom. There are many things you can do to show support:
- leave a positive review here on the App Store
- let people know how much you like using the app
- follow the Twitter profile: twitter.com/DerecomApp
- say hi :)
- share suggestions and feature requests, and report any bug that you may find using the app
