Scorio Music Notator is one of those apps that we hope improves over time. Right now the app is a web page wrapped inside a native app. The website allows you to create music from any web browser. We love the idea of this, but a true native app is needed on the iPad. The refresh times and speed of composing in this app are simply unbearable. Scorio is a notable app only because of the great promise of composing on any device anywhere in the world. The app itself is currently not great. The future we hope is a bright one.

scorio Music Notator works hand in hand with the free scorewriter portal scorio.com (http://www.scorio.com/) and needs internet connectivity. The music you create on your iPad can be saved on scorio.com and you may then continue to work on your music in any web browser on your Mac or PC.
You may not only create your own music. Using the search function of scorio.com you will find music others have written and published. You can use these pieces as templates for your own arrangements.
Optionaly you can publish your own music to the search engine of scorio.com.
