Dether has one simple but ambitious mission: create the biggest ecosystem of cryptocurrency individuals and shops in the world! We built Dether as an easy-to-use, peer-to-peer crypto-marketplace, that lets users buy crypto locally, with cash. From installing the app on your homescreen, to finding and chatting with a crypto seller, the app’s intuitive interface and easy-to-follow instructions helps the user flow from one functionality, to the next with three tabs: portfolio, exchange, and history. The “receive” button makes use of both a QR code and written wallet address, that can be copied at the tap of a button. The “maps” feature seamlessly takes the guesswork of locating a crypto buy or seller, and never feels clunky. Helpful reminders make sure that you keep your backup phrase safe, while the sliding gas feature makes it easy to understand if your transaction will be sent quickly, or take more time.
