Tips for Optimal Scan Results:
• Hold your smartphone horizontally so the camera can view the dice from above.
• Keep the camera 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15 cm) above the dice for best results.
• Avoid scanning on metallic or glass surfaces that reflect light, as well as backgrounds with busy patterns or colors.
• Make sure there is enough lighting. The app is designed to work in low-light conditions and does not use your phone's built-in LED, but very poor lighting may still lead to inaccurate readings.

Compatible Dice:
DiceEye works with classic white six-sided dice with black pips. Colored dice are currently not supported. The app has been tested with the following dice:
• "Yahtzee Classic" by Hasbro, product number 00950 – white dice with black pips. Note: This product number is also used for black-and-red dice with white pips, which are not compatible with DiceEye.
• "Yahtzee" by Hasbro, product number C2406
• "Classic Yahtzee" by Hasbro, product number 1167
In addition, we tested DiceEye with many dice from other manufacturers, and it worked well with most of them.
