Der Umbau der Brücke begann am 27.02.2015 mit dem ersten Spatenstich und soll bis November 2015 abgeschlossen sein.
Am Wochenede des 04.09.2015 hat die bautruppe ein 30-stündiges Zeitfenster um die alte Brücke abzureißen und die neue Brücke einzufügen.
