DiscSense Pilot App

The Disc Sense App is intended to be used with the Disc Sense sensor by participants in the Disc Sense pilot program. The sensor and app measure key flight characteristics of flying discs including Ultimate Frisbees and Disc Golf discs. The app allows users to track their throw metrics across different discs in their disc bag and different throwers on their team.

When used in conjunction with the disc sense sensor the app immediately displays throw characteristics when a throw is made. Additional flight characteristics are calculated and saved when the sensor is within range of the phone.

The Disc Sense app allows users to build a virtual disc bag of any disc they may have and then assign throw data to a particular disc. The app also allows users to build a virtual team and assign throw data to individual team members. Using these identifiers the user can view historical throw data and trends based on disc and thrower to identify opportunities to improve.

The Disc Sense sensor is not yet released to the market. A select group of pilot customers have ordered final round prototypes for use with this app to test functionality and identify opportunities for improvement.
