Why We Built This App
This app was inspired by a simple but powerful realization: sometimes, the differences in how people are treated aren’t obvious—unless you’re the one experiencing them. After witnessing a close friend face unfair treatment at a local business, while I was welcomed with a smile, I knew something had to change. Don’t Pull Up, ON GRANDMA! was created to give everyone a voice, to make invisible experiences visible, and to encourage positive change through transparency and community action. How It Works
Pin the Truth: Drop a pin on the map to report an incident—whether it’s unfair treatment, discrimination, or a positive experience—within 200 feet of your location. Help others see what’s really happening in your neighborhood.
Video Visibility: Attach a short video (up to 3 minutes) to your report for added context and transparency. Sometimes, seeing is believing.
Stay Informed: Receive real-time notifications about incidents in your area, so you and your loved ones can stay aware and make informed choices.
Filter and Manage: Easily filter reports, view your own pins, and manage your contributions. Edit or delete your reports at any time.
Ally Action: Invite friends, family, and allies to join the movement. When we all see the evidence, we can make better decisions about where to spend our time and money.
Safe & Private: Share anonymously or with an account—your privacy is always protected. We only collect the minimum data needed to verify and share incidents.
