Dooky: Digital Booky

DOOKY is the app that allows children to enjoy reading stories from loved ones who are not around. Let your child choose who reads the story every day!

Think of grandfathers and/or grandmothers who live far away. Uncle's and Aunt's who live abroad. Or just your own voice for when you're on a business trip. With DOOKY you can ensure that your reading stories are saved and always available for the children.
During the reading, it is up to the little one to choose who reads the story. You have the book and the app has the audio clips. So you have someone's voice, always within reach.

How does DOOKY work?
1. DOOKY has collected the most read children's books for you.
2. Share the app with your loved ones so they can record the books from their location.
3. Make sure you are connected via the DOOKY app. This way you can listen to each other's audio/voice memos.
4. Now the loved ones are around. Record the books that the child has at home. This can be done while babysitting or, for example, in the library.
PLEASE NOTE: it is currently not possible to download the text of the book in the DOOKY app. So you really have to physically hold the book to record it.
5. Once the book has been recorded and the accounts have been linked, you can listen to each other's recordings.
6. Now it's reading time. Let the little one choose who reads the book. In the DOOKY app, find the book and click on the audio of your loved ones. So you have someone's voice, always within reach!
